Thelma May Padula, 77, of Sarasota, FL passed away on September 4, 2024 after a long battle with a terminal illness. She was born on February 2, 1947 in Franklin, NJ to Samuel White and Evelyn Kimble.
Thelma was a professional seamstress for twenty years and enjoyed making clothes for family and friends and was known for her amazing Halloween costumes. She was also a passionate gardener who grew the most amazing flowers and vegetables. She loved to cook and made sure there was always room at the table for whoever stopped by. She enjoyed decorating and made sure every season was well represented in her home. Thelma was deeply loved by her family and her cats. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, James White (Lowell, MA) and Samuel White, Jr (Sarasota, FL).
She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Padula (Sarasota, FL); her children, Christopher Padula (Wesley Chapel, FL) and Terry Kimble Cahill (New Albany, OH); her grandchildren, Kristina Padula (New Port Richey, Fl) and Matthew Padula (North Hampton, PA); and her great-granddaughter, Amelia Padula.
