
Wayne Emmett Hart, loving Husband, Dad and PaPa, of Venice FL, passed away on November 24th, 2017. Wayne was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 15th, 1941 and was 76 years young when he passed. He graduated from Father Judge High School and started working at RCA in Camden, NJ. After many years of service to both the Federal and State of NJ Government, he retired as the Chief Administrator of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and moved to Florida. Wayne was married to Bernadette (nee Lewandowski) for 53 wonderful years this past October. They have 5 children, Jeffrey married to Marcia Hoge, Michele married to Patrick Donahue, Gregory married to Michele DiFazio, Colleen married to Michael Komar and Daniele married to David Goll. They have 10 grandchildren, Andrew Gagnon, Kevin, Eric, Kyle and Jessica Donahue, Elizabeth, Laura and Nathaniel Hart and Austin and Bodie Hart that he absolutely adored. Wayne is also survived by his sister Eileen Heverly, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Wayne loved being with his family and friends, vacationing, going to see Broadway shows, singing, dancing, painting and running Bingo in his community. Wayne was a member of the Venice Gondoliers Barbershop Chorus, Knights of Columbus, and a Parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. Everyone who knew Wayne, loved him dearly and he will be greatly missed by all. The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Monday December 18th, 2017 at 10 am. Reception will follow at the church hall and Interment will take place after the reception at Sarasota National Cemetery.
