Theodore (Ted) Francis Koski passed away October 3rd, 2014 with music playing, the sun shining on his face, and his family by his side. Ted was born December 7th, 1930 in Sinnett SK. He grew up on the family farm in the Sinnett area, attending schools, Manresa and Loyola. Although his early years were spent in the time of the great depression, Ted always said he felt rich because of the closeness he had with his family and the good times they shared. In 1960, Ted married the love of his life, Bev Knaus, and they moved to Saskatoon to start their family. Ted worked out of town with various grain elevator companies, Searle, Federal, Sask Wheat Pool, and Pioneer Grain. He travelled the province keeping the elevators in good repair. What Ted enjoyed most was spending time with those he loved. Family dinners, one on one time with grandchildren chauffering them around, along with Bev attending every event, game, and activity that their son Brad and later grandchildren Melissa, and Brad Jr. were involved in. He was generous to a fault never expecting anything in return. He would do anything for you. He enjoyed sharing laughter and cheer with family and friends. Ted loved to make others laugh. In his retirement he was by Bev's side supporting her in her endeavours at the Saskatoon Farmer's Market. While she was busy crafting for the market he took up knitting and would make beautiful slippers and mittens for family and friends. When Bev died so quickly and unexpectedly in 2011, Ted's heart broke and he just couldn't seem to find the happiness and joy he once exuded. Ted will be missed by those who loved him but we are happy knowing he is reunited with Bev and has once again found his sunshine and happiness. Leaving to hold Ted's memory, his only son, Brad (Edie), 2 grandchildren, Melissa (Doug) Normand, Brad Jr (Michelle Brewster) and 2 great granddaughters, Aubrey, and Isla Normand. His brothers Bernard (Maureen), Steve, sisters, Geraldine (Elmer) Dieno, Marian (Don) Wilson, Rose Anselmo, sister in law Caroline Koski. Numerous nieces and nephews and brother in law Jim Anselmo and other extended family. He was predeceased by his loving wife Bev (nee Knaus), parents Annie and Theodore Koski, sister Joyce Bonyai, brother in law Jim Bonyai, brother Joe, and infant sister and brother Margaret and Leo. The Vigil for Ted will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, October 8th, and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Thursday, October 9th. Both will be held at Holy Spirit Parish (114 Kingsmere Place). Following the reception, Rite of Committal to take place at St. Patrick's Parish Cemetery, Leroy, SK.
