Elam Shelly Wise, 77, of Myerstown, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in his home. He was the husband of Rickey Lou Snavely Wise and they were married on May 17, 1980. He was born in Martindale, PA on April 11, 1940, a son of the late Christian and Nancy Shelly Wise. Elam was employed at Quaker Alloy Casting, Inc. in Myerstown as a purchasing agent, and retired after 33 years of service. Elam was a member of the Tri-County Worship Center in Bethel. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Crystal Ann Hower, Kathy Lynn Cromleigh, Kelly Jo Miller, Corey Allen Wise husband of Susan Wise, Tracy Erin Teague; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Earl S. Wise and wife Shirley; Clair S. Wise and wife Donna; sisters, Mae S. Hollinger and husband James; Norma S. Snyder and husband Martin; Bonnie S. Sensenig and husband Eli. He was preceded in death by a son, Kerry Lee Wise; brother, Harold S. Wise and sister, Dorothy S. Gerhart. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11 AM in Tri-County Worship Center, 1501 Schubert Road, Bethel, PA, with a visitation beginning on Saturday at 10 AM. . In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made payable to Operation Smile and mailed to Tri-County Worship Center, P. O. Box 379, Bethel, PA 19507.
