Faunia was born on October 5, 1932, with her twin sister Sonia to Walter and Wilma (Koonce) Creamer in Loup City, Nebraska. On June 2, 1952, Faunia earned a Certificate to teach K-8th Grades by the State of Nebraska.
On March 8, 1953, Faunia married Meredith Paul “Paul” DeWitt in Beaver City, Nebraska which endured for 65 years until Paul’s death. After their marriage, Paul and Faun moved to Huntington, Indiana, where this union was blessed with 2 boys, Mark and Kent. While in Huntington, Faun worked at Memcor and the Square D Company.
In 1973, Faun moved with her family to Gering, Nebraska. She was a greeter at Walmart then operated Fauns Beauty Shop in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, until retirement.
Faun was preceded in death by her husband Paul, parents Walter and Wilma Creamer, twin sister Sonia and nephew Charles Roose.
