Erling Martin Johannesen, 91, passed away on May 29, 2025 in Mill Creek, Washington. He was born on September 12, 1933 in Seattle to Magda and Erling Johannesen and grew up in Alderwood Manor. Erling served in the army and spent one year in Korea. He worked 28 years in the engineering department of Boeing. He was a long time resident of Mukilteo. Erling enjoyed his retirement years with his friends, going out for meals and spending time at the YMCA. He will be remembered for his love of sports, especially football. Most of all Erling loved spending time with his family in Washington state, Arizona, New Hampshire, Maine, and in Norway. He is survived by his brother Arnold (Arden), sister Judith (Charles), and his 7 nieces and nephews and their families. A private burial is planned at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery.
