Pauline Rodgers Welch Thornton McCallon

Pauline was born April 12, 1934 in Baskin, LA. Her parents were Myrtis Lillian Martin and Edward Dewey Rodgers. She went to be with her Lord September 12, 2018 in Minden, LA.

Pauline went to school and became a LPN and worked for Dr. J. D. Talbot at Willis Knighton for 25 years. She was a resident of Blanchard and attended Blanchard Church of Christ.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Edward Earl Welch, Robert H. Thornton, and Stanley Don McCallon; and a son in law, Eugene Edward (Ned) Beatty, Jr. She is survived by her son, David Earl Welch and wife Carolyn of Southlake, TX; daughter, Judy Kay Beatty of Minden, LA; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Allen Rodgers and wife Nina of Knoxville, TN and Edward Earl Rodgers and wife Bonnie of Winnsboro, LA; and several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A service celebrating the life of Pauline McCallon will be held Sunday, September 16, 2018, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time.
