Larry John MacPhee

MacPhee, Larry John – 82, Gore passed away Sunday December 18, 2011 in the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Gore, he was a son of the late William J. and Verna B.(Gowe) MacPhee. He enjoyed all sorts of farming and specialized in wild blueberries. He was an avid reader and a true entrepreneur. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 58 years, Joyce (McCulloch), sons Tony Ross (Betty), Terry John (Debra), grandchildren Scott, (Prily), Tanya (Tim), great grandchildren, Prisco, Cameron, and Allister, a sister Vivian Hayes, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Olive MacPhee, Janie Withrow, brothers Arthur, Albert, Phillip and Graham. Visitation will be Tuesday December 20, 2011 from 6-8 pm and funeral services 2 pm Wednesday December 21st all in the Ettinger Funeral Home Shubenacadie. A reception will follow in the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Gore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
