He was a member of Miner Baptist Church in Miner, MO.
He worked as the Senior Information Services Officer for First State Bank and Trust in Sikeston, MO. until he had to leave due to health issues on December 15, 2017.
Born June 3, 1959, in Sikeston, MO., to the late Kenneth and Helen Cantrell Butler.
On February 29, 1980 in Sikeston, MO., he married Charlotte Smith Butler, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Derris and Krystin Butler of Nixa, MO.; one sister, Jana Weiny of Blodgett, MO.; two grandchildren, Charlie and Elliot Butler of Nixa, MO.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Butler.
Visitation will be Friday December 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO., with Bro. Mitch Jackson, Pastor of Miner Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Blodgett Cemetery in Blodgett, MO.
