Karyn Marie Tagnani

Karyn Marie Tagnani, 56, of Springfield, died at 9:10 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2004 at Memorial Medical Center. Karyn was born on September 7, 1947 in Litchfield, Illinois, the daughter of Louis and Jennie Profiri Tagnani. Karyn worked at the Illinois Department of Revenue from 1969 to 2002, retiring in 2002. She loved music, collectibles, handcrafts, nature, and her dog, Bella Marie. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Louise M. Chura. She is survived by three nieces: Marthee J. (husband, Thomas) Rizzi of Staunton, Chandra (husband, David) Tagnani Hough of Fort Worth, TX, and Joyree (husband, Brad) Chura Allen of Edwardsville, IL; and two great nephews, Bradley (wife, Amy) Rizzi, and Michael Rizzi, both of Staunton, IL.; a brother, Donald Tagnani of Poplar Bluff, MO, and one cousin, Carole Pierantoni of Richmond Heights, MO. Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield. Cremation will follow visitation and Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield, with Rev. Larry Hanson officiating. Private family burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.
