Olivia Mae Pierce, 82 died at 9:16 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019, in a local care center.

She was born on September 13, 1936 in Jennings, Louisiana and had been a longtime resident of Sulphur.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond J. Pierce of Sulphur; her children, Mattie Thibodeaux Montney and husband, John of San Antonio, Texas, Jean Simmons and husband, Doc of New Iberia, Barry Thibodeaux of Sulphur, and Donald Lee LeBlanc of Pennsyvlania; and two grandchildren, Lee Ann and Ricky. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Thelia Kay Touchet.
