Robert Victor LePlae

Robert (Bob) was born on November 15, 1928 in Detroit, MI and was united in marriage in 1981 to Sue Ann Schrems in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI.

Of Belgian descent, Robert was the fourth of five children who resided in the Detroit and Grosse Pointe Park area for several years where he ran LePlae Real Estate, and then worked for the State of Michigan until he retired. In 2007 he moved to Florida with his wife Sue where they golfed, danced, and had many friends to help enjoy the last decade of his life.

Those Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife Sue; his six children Laurie (Terry) Triplett of Chesterfield, MI, Michael of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Robert of New York, NY, Gregg of Ft. Gratiot, MI, John of Lakewood, OH, and Susan (Doug) Miller of Lake Zurich, IL; six grandchildren Lindsey and Sydney LePlae, Theresa, Catherine, Alexander, and Andrew Miller; a sister Joan (Fred) Metzler of Venice, FL; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at:

The Allamanda Recreation Center, 1515 St. Charles Place, The Villages, FL 32162.

Father Louis Bihr will officiate.
