May 11, 1930 – March 2, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Corrigal (nee Plant). She is survived by her seven children and their spouses, twelve grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren, and will be missed by all. She also leaves behind two surviving sisters. Patricia was born and raised in Vancouver. She married Kenneth in 1949, and moved to Richmond in 1955 to raise their growing family. Patricia was active in the community for many years through Scouting, running a concession stand while her sons played football, and participating in a running group with Ken. As her children grew up and had families of their own, she became an avid cheerleader for her grandchildren’s activities, and was often seen in the stands for basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, karate and dance events. Once Ken retired, he and Patricia spent a good deal of their time exploring the highways of BC with their trailer, until finally parking it for good in Osoyoos. Patricia was predeceased by Kenneth, her husband of 58 years, in 2007. The family would like to extend its gratitude to the staff of Hilton Villa Care Centre, who for the last two years took great care of Patricia. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
