Nicholas A. Braga, age 34, of Swansea, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Brittney (Tobin) Braga. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of Bonnie J. (MacNaught) Braga of Swansea and the late Mann Braga.
A graduate of Joseph Case High School, class of 2002, he attended Bristol Community College. He was a Veteran of the Unites States Air Force and worked as an Electrical Apprentice for the past five years.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hiking and snowboarding. He always had a positive attitude and would lend anyone in need a hand. Nicholas loved spending time with his family and his son and truly enjoyed making them all feel good.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Keigen J. Braga; one brother Timothy Braga and his wife Rita of Somerset; three sisters, Susan Nascimento and her husband Frank of Somerset, Haley Braga of San Diego, CA, Holly Braga of Swansea; one nephew Porter and one niece Bella.
His Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial private. In lieu of flowers; the family has established an education fund for Nicholas' son, Keigen. Please make checks payable to Bonnie Braga, 2 Mt.
