Pauline Snow age 77, of Sydney died Friday, July 7, 2006 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Pauline (O’Keefe) Somers of Sydney. Pauline was a member of St. Theresa’s Parish, Sydney. Pauline’s life was centered around her family. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Surviving are 6 daughters; Joan Snow, Sydney, Judy Law (Brent), Calgary ALta., Darlene Hareguy (Joe), Sydney, Jean MacNeil ( Glen ), Toronto, Ont., Karen Sullivan (Douglas), Sydney, Margaret Anne Snow ( George),

Reserve; one son George, Sydney; 3 sisters; Jean March, Winnipeg, Man., Mary Pion, Montreal, Que., Eileen Burchill, Howie Centre and a special cousin and friend Carmel Tubbrett. Pauline is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband George, sisters Tessie Somers, Sheila Willis, Helen MacDougall and grandson Joey.

Visitation for the late Pauline Snow was held Monday, July 10, 2006 from

2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel.

The funeral mass was celebrated Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Theresa’s Church with Father Angus MacDougall officiating. Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery on Thursday, July 13, 2006.
