Ida E. Mooney, age 70, of Weogufka, Alabama passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020. Ida was born February 22, 1950. A visitation for Ida will be held Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Weogufka Family Worship Center. A funeral service will occur following the visitation at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at the Weogufka Family Worship Center Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Thornton will officiate all services. Ida is survived by her husband, Charles Mooney; daughter Wendy Hanner (Kent); and son Michael Finch (Jo); brother Clois Earl Thornton; stepchild Stephanie Pitts, stepchild Wade McClellen (Angel), grandchild Shai Finch, grandchild Haley Connell, grandchild Emily Morris (Adam), grandchild Cody Connell, grandchild Christopher Finch (Ashley), grandchild Candace Hanner, grandchild Haley Hanner, grandchild Evan Hanner, grandchild Chanisty McDickinson, grandchild Chaz McDickinson, grandchild Abigail Bevels, grandchild Jeremiah Bevels, grandchild Jasmine Bevels and 2 Great Grandchildren. Ida was preceded in death by parents AJ & Lucinda Thornton; brother Carl Thornton; brother Roger Thornton and sister Madge Morris.
