I thank everyone for the kind words.  Nancy was my love and soul mate and I will have a difficult time continuing without her.  I loved her dearly.

Carlton, I know it is very hard and I am sorry for your loss.  It has been a long time since we talked and wish it was under better circumstances. Your old friend Jimmy.

I was so sorry to hear that Nancy passed away. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. I loved the fact that whenever I saw one of you I knew the other wouldn't be far behind!  I am sorry for your loss and know this will leave a huge hole in your heart.

Carlton, you are in our hearts. Nancy was truly one-of-a-kind and a wonderful match for you.

Nancy's dad was my principal during my Bessemer Jr High School days & was the best principal I ever had. All during our old school days, Nancy always wore a smile, had the best disposition & I am sure her dad was part of her great inspiration!

I'm so thankful for the friendship that Nancy and I had on Facebook for these past few years.  I loved seeing her share her beautiful flowers and chatting with her after all these many years.  She was the same sweet spirit in high school (Bessemer High School) as she was her entire life. You will be missed my friend.

You will hold a special place in my heart and a song on my lips.  Miss you dear friend.

Nancy was the first person to welcome me to the Tallahassee Civic Chorale, and I always looked forward to seeing her and talking to her at rehearsals and concerts. I will really miss her, and offer my deepest condolences.

Carlton, I just saw this on Facebook.  I have been praying for you and hope Nancy passed easily after her suffering.  I hope you have been able to get some rest.  I see the service is tomorrow so will give you a little time.  Much love.

Carlton, I am so very saddened to hear this news.  I know your heart is breaking and realize what a big void you have in your liffe right now.  No words I can say will make that better but I promise to keep you in our prayers in the coming months.  Nancy was never forgotten by her classmates and will always have a special place in our hearts.  Those were childhood memories but sometimes they are the best ones.  May God's grace provide you the strength you will need in the coming days.

I am so blessed that I was able to sing with Nancy in the Soprano section and I still can't believe she is gone. But I know that her spirit will live on in the Chorale always and I will think of her at every rehearsal and performance. I am thankful for everything she did for our group and she is already deeply missed. All my prayers to her family.

Nancy certainly epitomized the charm and grace of a true southern lady. What a wonderful wife to Carlton and lovely addition to our family she was. A life well lived. We will miss her greatly.

I am so sorry for your loss, Nancy was so sweet . She was the only lady worried about how her sporty wheels looked.! We will miss her here at Proctor Acura.  :(

Nancy was my roommate at Peabody.  She was the reason I moved to Tallahassee after college.  She introduced me to my husband and was my only attendant at our wedding.  My heart is truly broken today.
