LTC Oneta Troy, 94, (Us Army, Ret) passed away in Tallahassee, Fl January 4,2020. She was born in Houston, Tx September 14,1925 and was adopted by WH and Album Downey. She spent most of her school years in northern Arkansas. Oneta received Bachelor's degrees from both Florida State University and Kansas State University. She joined the Army and became a Dietician, serving in Germany, Washington D C, South Carolina and Texas. Though Neta had no immediate family, there were many friends she loved as family.
A memorial service will be held January 25, 2020 at 10:00 a m at North Florida Baptist Church, where she was a member. Bro Tommy Stone will officiate.
