1944 – 2019
Cleotilde (“Tila”) Yvonne Rendon, 75 of Phoenix passed away peacefully on November 20, 2019 at home with her husband at her side. Tila was born June 18, 1944 to Alfred and Mercedes (Velasquez) Rendon in Nogales, AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Milo. She is survived by her husband, Robert Seiber; brothers Alfred Rendon and wife, Olga of Tucson; Arnold and wife, Caroline of Nogales; 9 nieces and nephews; 2 stepdaughters and several grand nieces and nephews.
Tila graduated from High School in Nogales and matriculated at University of Arizona in Tucson before moving to Phoenix to work for the Arizona Department of Public Safety. She spent the last several years of her career in State Government with the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety as a Contract Administrator/Project Manager with interfaces to many Federal, State, AZ County offices, and law officials.
Tila loved line dancing, social interaction with her many friends, and cruising on the ocean. After a 29 day cruise from San Francisco to Sydney, Australia, she commented to friends that she now knew what it was like to have a wife, “they do everything for you”. But most of all she loved her family – the extended family, which included many people who weren’t related to either her husband or her.
She will be missed by all for a long time.
