Mr. Morehouse was born August 16, 1954 in Oklahoma and moved to Texarkana in the early 1980's. He was an Insurance Salesman all his adult life and served on several local organization boards such as the Boy Scouts of America and the Optimist Club. He also served in many positions and posts at his Church First United Methodist Church Texarkana, AR. He attended East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. For several years he also was owned an Insurance Agency in Hot Springs, Arkansas which he and his late wife ran. He retired in 2015 and lived with his Son Benjamin, daughter-in Law Sonia and Grandson Stathis in Kailua, HI. In 2016 he moved with his Son's family to Richmond, VA.
He is preceded in death by his late wife Carolyn J. Morehouse of Texarkana, TX who passed away April 9, 2015. His Mother Martha Morehouse of Texarkana who passed away on November 11, 2000 and His Father Eldon Morehouse of Oklahoma City who passed away on February 26,1993.
Survivors include his Son Benjamin Morehouse and daughter-in-law Sonia Limberis of Richmond, Virginia. His daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Robert Jacuzzi of Little Rock, AR; Son Greg Raney of Texarkana, TX ; grandsons, Stathis Limberis of Richmond, VA and Luke Jacuzzi of Little Rock, AR; and his brother Gary Morehouse of Dallas Texas, nephew and Niece Charles Morehouse of Oklahoma City and Glenna Morehouse of Dallas Texas.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29th, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29th at First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, Arkansas.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
