Carol McNair, 70 passed away peacefully at her home in The Villages, FL on November 24th as a result COPD. Her death was preceded by her parents Roger and Dorothy DeLoach Born in Asheville, NC she attended grammar and secondary schools in Salisbury, NC before graduating from UNC Chapel Hill in 1968 with a degree in education. She taught in the Durham public schools prior to moving to Charlotte and joining NCNB. After 29 years of service with Bank America, she retired in as a vice president in 2001. Carol loved traveling thru out the country, especially the Northwest, spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards with her lady friends and enjoying a good glass of wine. She is survived by her husband od 33 years, W Scott McNair; Son Michael David Wyche, grandchildren Jordan and Robert Wyche; Stepson Thomas McNair (Katie), grand children Delaney and Declan; Sister Suzanne Smith (James), nephews Scott and Austin, and her beloved Tibetan Terrier, MAGGIE.
