

Bethanie is remembered as a true caring daughter, she was very family oriented. Bethanie was a city girl, she was so attracted to the city life and had many friends showing her love and support. She loved helping others and expecting nothing in return. She enjoyed life to the fullest. As a youngster, her goal was to compete in figure skating. Bethanie took a great deal of interest in birds and animals, she spent time writing poetry, enjoyed various musical groups, especially the Back Street Boys in her younger years. Bethanie was a great cook and had various jobs highlighting her talent.
Bethanie is survived by her parents, Geanna and Larry Walker (Sandy Cove, Digby Co.); siblings, Buffey Jean (Stephen) Cassidy and their children, Emily Cassidy and Gregory Cassidy (Ala); Wyle (Nancy) Walker and their children, Lucas Walker, Travis (Erika) Thibodeau; Melvin (Joy) Walker and their daughter, Alyssa Walker; Willow Walker (Cameron) and their son, Nash Wiles.
Bethanie was predeceased by her grandfather Llewelyn O’Neil; aunt, Claudia O’Neil and cousins, Justin Harris and Jody O’Neil.
The family would like to thank the doctors and palliative care team at St. Michaels Hospital and Providence Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life will be held on her birthday, May 3, 2024 at Larry and Geanna Walker’s house in Sandy Cove, Digby Co. from 1-4pm.
