An Angel Auntie Oye,
You are so sweet, you and Uncle Pete. We didn’t get to see each other much but my mother Carrie Knox spoke of all her siblings almost every day. I loved to hear my mother tell the stories of back in the day when she was in the Philippines the joy that she felt and the smile on her face was. Priceless. Mom had so much LOVE for her sisters and brothers. Auntie Oye you are truly loved, and never forgotten. May you Rest in Heaven Angel. I am praying for strength for you Dear Uncle Pete, as everyone knows Auntie Oye was your soulmate. I am praying for my aunties, uncles, and my cousins. May God keep you lifted and covered in Jesus Holy Name Amen. I Love you my family ❤️ Linda,
The daughter of Carrie and Howard Knox

Auntie Oye,

I'm sad we can no longer be together in this earthly life. My consolation is that we've shared lots of good memories, specially my childhood years. I'll never forget the many times you took me and my siblings to the movies and always with a bagful of snacks so we won't get hungry. One in particular was watching The Sound of Music three straight times in one sitting. I will always cherish the memories of our traditional Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations, the birthdays and all the fun times.

Rest well in heaven Auntie. Give our love and hugs to mom, Auntie Carrie, Uncle Tony, and Uncle Robert. Watch over Uncle Peter and all of us. Till we meet again. We love you!

Always,
Gino (& Joy and family)

Auntie Oye,

Before I went to Toronto to meet you, about 20 years ago, my mom told me all the lovely stories and memories she had with you. She had so many great things to say about the person you are.

Thank you for all the wonderful memories in Toronto. You have always been so welcoming and loving. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to meet the person who gave my mom her nickname, “Mylee.” Thinking of you and Grandma so much this month. I miss you and I love you!

It saddens me to hear such a great loss. Auntie Oye, thank you for letting me celebrate one of my birthdays with you and being loving and cherishing. Thank you for being apart of my life and being an amazing Auntie to the whole family. It also hurts my heart that I never took the chance to swing up to Toronto and wasn’t able to see you and for you to see how much I have grown. I love you so much and I know you are resting in peace and in power. I miss you and we’ll one day see each other again. Say hi to my grandma for me and the rest of the family, love you Auntie Oye.

With love,

Brent S.

Auntie Oye,

I was so happy when mom and I went to see you all in Toronto in 2016! We had such a great time especially with all the tours you gave us, uncle Peter and I always talking about hockey, me getting called "little Beverly" again and all the memories you shared about grandma, mom and all the aunties and uncles when they were kids. I know it's not my memory to share but I always remember you telling me how when uncle Robbie was a kid and he wanted you to smell him after he took a shower to show you that he was clean and you would say "Oh you smell so good!" I always thought that was funny. I might not have many memories but the few that I have, I will always cherish. It's comforting to know that you and grandma are together again after so many years apart. I love you auntie and say "Hi" to grandma for me as I know she's missed you.

I'll see you again, but not yet!

Love,
Brandon ("Little Beverly")
