I helped Court buy this car ,Datzun 280Z  back in the late 70's, he loved that car! I will miss you Court. We had been friends from high school!

Dearest Court 
Hard to find words to express what a beautiful soul he was. Having looked after his beloved Robbie for years, he deserved some fun times. 

He was a kind generous man with deep rooted love of tradition! How many times did a chair get positioned in wrong place at the cottage - only to be quickly corrected by his nibs. ‘That goes here!’. 

Once we stopped at a second hand shop in Orillia and while we were wandering, he saw one of his family ornaments.  He proceeded to search entire store for his Thomson artefacts and bought them all back. 

I do hope that when people come to the memorial, they will take a treasure from the condo and love it like Court loved his things.

We will miss you Courtie!

Court had a great sense of humour.  He loved Monty Python and even imitated the Silly Walk sketch with our now 92 year old friend.

So many wonderful memories of Court over more than 50 years. He loved being near the water, whether it was a trip to the Toronto Islands or spending time at his cottage. He will be sorely missed by so many.

Court and Rob were dear friends of mine for more than 40 years.  I got to know them when they were working at Mount Sinai Hospital.  They vacationed with me at my family's timeshare in St. Petersburg  FL, and there were times at their condo and Court's cottage.  Rob stepped forward to help my partner John as he struggled with health challenges.  After Rob's death, I invited Court to enjoy theater outings with me to make sure there was an occasion to see each other regularly. 
Both Court and Rob were generous with their time to spend with those they treasured.  I know I'm one of many who feel privileged to be part of their lives!

I consider Court as 1 of my friends that have been a part of my life since I was 17 - I got to spend lots of time with him and Doug and Rob- they were all part of the best group of cherished in my circle- so many fun times at the cottage - their patio at the condo - moving court from Kingston was a great memory and then the massive amount of help they gave to me when I had my group with the use of their party room each Christmas, they helped to create memories for more than 100 men in the city! I will miss them both !
