We have many good memories of Auntie Inez. She was beautiful, elegant and funny.  
 Auntie Inez was instrumental in bringing our parents together. She was the matchmaker. When she was young, she would hang out in front of their house on Palmerston. Dad, who lived a couple of houses down, would call her over and give her a dollar to get his shoes shined.   One day Auntie Inez  said 'you should meet my sister' and the rest is history. 
Dad had a special bond with Auntie Inez. He adored her.  
Mom always carried Auntie Inez in her heart.  Mom loved her.

Grandma loved her grandchildren more than I thought was physically possible. She told me countless times how proud she was of us and would brag to her friends about us. She did everything she could to spoil us and make us happy. She loved hearing about our lives, vacations, careers and hobbies. It made her happy to hear that we were happy.

I miss her a lot and she will always be in my memories.

Here are some of my favorite memories of Grandma:

In the mid-90s Grandma and Papa bought an amazing computer (for the time) that I would use every time I went to their house. Grandma noticed how much I liked the computer and told me that when she died I could have the circa 1995 computer. I didn't appreciate the humor in this at the time, but now it makes me laugh whenever I think about it.

When I was about 11, after relentlessly nagging her,  Grandma rented Child's Play 3 for us (Jean and I). We were way too young to watch that movie and it gave me nightmares, but it was awesome. Even though the movie is objectively awful, I still love it.

Grandma's cooking. OMG, amazing.

About four or so years ago (around the time of all the leaker UFO videos and reports) Grandma got really into aliens (albeit, she was more interested in Ancient Aliens). I was really interest the UFO sightings and we would mostly talk about aliens every time I called or visited.

Grandma was 50 years old for about 30 years. I knew something was off around the time my mom became older than Grandma.

Grandma was a classy lady with great taste and an excellent host. While I clearly didn't inherit these traits, I can really appreciate her eye for interior decoration and the huge effort she put into hosting family gatherings.

I love you Grandma.
