Natalie grew up on her parents' farm along with 10 siblings in Ituna, Saskatchewan. At the age of 17, she moved to Toronto to begin studies on her vocation as a Hairstylist. For entertainment, she enjoyed going to dances at 276 Bathurst Ukrainian Youth Club. It was here that she met her future husband, Dan. They eventually married and began their life together at Broadview Avenue in 1952, where they raised their daughter Lorraine and son Zennon.
Natalie loved spending time gardening, baking, cooking, and sewing. She became an excellent seamstress, sewing beautiful dresses and gowns, to household accessories! Natalie was also employed part time at Canada Post, as she loved her independence. After retirement, she enjoyed being involved at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir.
Natalie was fortunate to live in her beloved home to the age of 90. She spent the last 5 years of her life under the excellent care of the staff at St. Peter and Paul’s Residence. It is here where she peacefully passed on November 22nd, 2021.
Natalie made a point of organizing family gatherings and these happy moments spent together will be carried on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren (Michael, Sarah, Devin, Rylan and Jenna) and great grandchild (Maxx), as well as her surviving siblings, nieces and nephews.
