Rosa Maria Virelli

May 1, 1926April 29, 2018

Rosa Maria Virelli, née Tucci, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Loving wife to the late Domenico Virelli, dearly loved mother to Elvira, Joe (Mary-Ann) and Greg, and beloved grandmother to Domenic, Catherine, and Elisabeth, she lived her life with great love and devotion to family and friends. Drawing great inner strength from her faith in God and religion, she was optimistic and courageous in the face of adversity. She acted with humility, generosity and kindness towards others; earning love and appreciation from those who knew her. Her warmth, guidance, love and acts of kindness will always be cherished. Her superb culinary and baking creations which always delighted family and friends were a contributing feature to family unity and merriment. “What is lovely never dies, but passes into other loveliness, Star-dust or sea-foam, flower winged air.” (Thomas Bailey Aldrich)
