Victorina Medina Bautista (Ninay) was born on September 15, 1929, to Victor and Blandina Medina. She was born in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines.

She was the first of four children. Her three younger brothers are Elias, Gideon (deceased) and McArthur Medina.

She graduated from high school at Northern Luzon Academy and studied as an Elementary Teacher at Philippine Union College. She then taught elementary school until she married Catalino Ocampo Bautista Sr. (Ninoy) on November 24, 1955, in Santiago, Isabela.

Victorina was also a pastor’s daughter. Knowing and living the life-style of a pastor’s child, she had no intention of being a pastor’s wife. But when God calls, one must respond.

They were blessed with four children: Catalino Jr. (Nonoy), Virno Rey (Melchor), Myrno, and Medilyn.

She dutifully served as a pastor’s wife until her husband’s retirement to Canada in 1988. They shared 34 years of marriage until her husband’s death in June 1990.

Victorina was also blessed with 5 grandchildren: McMurray, Marlyn , Joshua, Josef, Jadelyn and 3 great grandchildren: Jaiden, Jacob , and Isabella.

Victorina loved planting and watching her garden blossom. She was devoted to reading the bible, devotional, and praying daily. Playing the piano was one of her favourite past times and loved to teach her grandchildren how to play.

She also enjoyed travelling to different places.

She was a committed loving wife to her husband but even more committed to Jesus Christ. She never remarried after her husband passing and instead stayed devoted to Christ and her family.

She was a faithful servant at the Fil-Can Seventh Day Adventist church for more than 30 years. She stayed ready every day for Christ’s return. She fought the good fight for 90 years, she finished the race strong and kept her faith.

We know Jesus has told her “Well done, good and faithful servant”.

We will see her again in Heaven.
