Funeral services for Jimmy Mike Dark, 65, of Chapel Hill, will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler, with Bro. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery, Chapel Hill.
Jimmy was born September 12, 1953 in Tyler, Texas, to the late Jimmy Rae and Katie Jean Dark. He passed away on April 7, 2019 in Chapel Hill, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Rebecca Dark; sister Carolyn Doyle; and son Shawn Hendricks.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda Dark; children: Clint Dark, Scott and wife Tina Dark, Melissa Swinney, Michelle and husband Chris Worbington, Michael Swinney, and Amanda Cook; 22 grandchildren; brother and sister and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Green Acres Baptist Church Family Life Center Building Fund.
