Gertrude Marie Stucky, age 80, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2019 after a prolonged illness. She graduated from Union High School in 1956 and worked in several different fields over the years. Gertrude was the beloved daughter of Ferdinand and Elsa Stucky with whom she is now resting. She is survived by cousins, Anneliese Cibes, Ellie Herbold, Carolyn Holzer, Maggie Barton, and Irene Koch along with many cousins in Germany.
Gertrude lived all of her life in Union, NJ. She loved animals and treated each of her dogs as if it were her child. Her smile was contagious and showed her love for those around her. When she spoke of her Savior, Jesus Christ, and how she was looking forward to being with Him, her smile would be exceptionally bright. We are glad that Gertrude is at peace and resting in the arms of Jesus.
Entombment is scheduled for Tuesday March 19th, 1:30 PM, at Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union.
