July 14th, 1925 - April 6th, 2019
Martha passed away on the morning of April 6th in hospice after losing her battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She leaves behind her brother Newt, four children, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild, and goes to join James, her beloved husband of 59 years.
She was born in Medford, Oregon, but spent the majority of her life in Rosemead, California raising her kids and working in banking. In 2005 Martha and Jimmie moved into a new house together with their daughter Susan in Alta Loma, Ca. She lost Jimmie in 2009.
Her services will be held at 10am on April 29th at St. Joseph's in Upland. She will be cremated and inurned at Riverside Veteran's Cemetery, then placed in a niche next to Jimmie.
For those who wish to honor her memory in lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Martha Como's name to The Alzheimer's Association.
