Mae Baecker, 99 of Victoria passed away May 9, 2019. She was born November 4, 1919 in Victoria, Texas to the late Will Flowers and Georgia Pickert Flowers. She married John L. Baecker September 6, 1939 at Trinity Lutheran Church and lived in Victoria, Texas all of her life.
She was a nurse’s aide for 14 years, and belonged to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Victoria all of her life. She was a member of the Lydia Group then the Mary Martha Circle, and V.F. W. ladies auxiliary.
She is survived by her 2 grandchildren, Holly Gottschalt and husband Paul Tarter and Chris Pineda and wife DeAnna. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Baecker and; daughter, Billie Joyce Pineda; two brothers and parents.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Victoria. Pastor Barney Matocha will officiate.
