Mrs. Delima was a registered nurse educator and clinical supervisor at the University of Northeastern Philippines. She is an alumni of the University of The Philippines, DELMARVA Chapter and a member of the Philippine Nurses Association of Virginia, Bicol Association of Tidewater and St. Luke's Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Delima was preceded in death by her parents Sixto and Matea Ramos; and her husband Virgilio Bagaporo Delima, Sr.
Survivors include three children Virgilio Delima, Jr. and wife Agnes, Virlita Delima and Michael Robert Delima and wife Eleanor; grandco Delima, Jr.hildren Alvir Jared "AJ" Delima, Kyle Michael Delima and Kathryna Tea Delima; one sister Gloria Ramos Baluyot; sisters-in-law Araceli Ramos, Doring Ramos, Norma Delima, Dr. Fe Delima-Condit, Sister Felicitas B. Delima, DSA, and Atty. Lilia B. Delima; nephew Mel Delima and wife Eloisa and their children Melissa Paulmino (Christopher) Elizabeth Delima and Leslie Delima and numerous nephews, nieces and relatives of the Nueva-Ramos and Bagaporo-Delima clans.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Friday, August 12, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 13, 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church.
