Roman is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Isabel (Chabelita), his son Pete Macias, father Emanacio Macias, his mother Carmen Reyes, a brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his son Roman Macias, Jr.. daughters Martha Erwin (Jim), Sylvia Garcia (Fernando), Dora Siler (Steve) and Carmen Guthrie (Don), grandchildren, great grandchildren, one brother and one sister as well as several nieces and nephews who love him very much.
Dad was a humble and hard working field worker. He retired and was happiest tilling the soil and planting and grafting fruit trees in his garden.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 3 - 5 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 9 a.m. at Visalia Public Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia, CA.
