Nadine Swinnea

Mrs. Nadine Swinnea, 97, of Hewitt passed away at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 15th at the funeral home.

Mrs. Swinnea was the daughter of Earl and Hattie Laxson. She lived in Marlin for 38 years working at Perry Brothers; she moved to Waco and worked at the Walmart on Franklin for 25 years until she was 92 years old. Mrs. Swinnea was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Marlin a member of the First Baptist Church in Hewitt. She was preceded in death by a son, Don Swinnea.

Survivors include her son, Edward Swinnea and wife, Frances; granddaughter, Karla Marseilles and friends Brent Sykora and Ken Marseilles.
