Gilda L. Medeiros, age 97, of Warren passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born in Warren, a daughter of the late John and Etelvina (Barboza) Medeiros, she was a lifelong resident on Vernon St in Warren.

Ms. Medeiros worked as an Assembler at Coats & Clark and Dixon Manufacturing for many years before retiring.

She was the sister of the late Mary “Connie” Sylvia, Minnie Costa, Isabelle Reilly, John and Joseph Medeiros & is survived by several nieces & nephews.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 500 Metacom Ave., Warren. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Warren.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Warren Rescue, 1 Joyce St., Warren, RI 02885.
