Doris Lacombe

Doris Lauretta (Belanger) Lacombe of Brooksville, FL born December 19, 1940 to Louis and Rita (Morin) Belanger passed away on March 16, 2020 at the age of 79 after a long battle of several health issues. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Raoul Lacombe, Jr. for 54 years until his passing in October 2019. They are together again. She was the step daughter of Edward Canfield and the sister to the late Paul Belanger of Henderson, TN; Roger Belanger of Lakeland, FL; Edward Canfield of Fall River, MA; Georgette "Georgie" (Belanger) Andrade of Fall River, MA; Lucille (Belanger) Soule of Sanbornville, NH; Jeanette (Belanger) Biello of Swansea, MA. She is survived by two sisters Rhea (Belanger) Fernandez and Trudy Canfield both of Swansea, MA; seven children Helen (Lacombe) and the late Ronald Vezzina of Swansea, MA; Joy (Lacombe) Crowley of Fall River, MA; Arlene (Correira) and Emile Thibodeau of New Bedford, MA; Karen (Correira) and Bruce Venancio of Brooksville, FL; Lisa (Lacombe) and Michael Powers of Fall River, MA; Henry Lacombe lll of Brooksville, FL; Stacey (Lacombe) and Eric Gauthier of Somerset, MA; and a special friend to Michelle Sousa. Doris is also survived by several grandchildren Steven, Kevin, Wendy, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Shonda, Crystal, Craig, Heather, Kayla, Jessica, Henry lV, Rachel, Cole and Alec, and several great grandchildren. Born and raised in Fall River, MA she was a long time member of the East End Sportsmans Club in Fall River where she was an officer of the women's auxiliary, she worked at Chase Curtain for many years moving up into management until their closing in 1992. She then moved to Florida fulfilling a promise she made to her husband where she became a supervisor at K-mart. Her hobbies consisted of crafts and puzzles. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
