David L. Jacobson

73, of Littleton. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Jeannie Jacobson, sister Delores (Richard) Dorsett of Ft. Myers, Florida, half-sisters Linda (Larry) Schubert, Brenda Grunklee and Cheryl Jacobson and half-brother Allan Jacobson all of Owatonna, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his son Tim Jacobson in 1991, his mother Lorraine Grunklee and his father Leroy Jacobson.

David was born January 2, 1941 in Owatonna, Minnesota. He graduated from Mason City High School in Mason City, Iowa where he later married Jeannie Rhodes. He owned and operated Jacobson Clothing for several years in Forest City and Clear Lake, Iowa. He, his wife and son Tim moved to Colorado in 1986. Dave worked in several retail establishments in Iowa and Colorado as manager, assistant manager and sales representative.

Dave had many hobbies including tennis, golfing, reading, gardening, backyard bird watching, and landscaping. He enjoyed watching the Broncos, Nuggets and the Rockies play.

He passed away May 12, 2014 at his home in Littleton, Colorado. He will be lovingly remembered.

Viewing Friday, May 16th, 2:00-3:00pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Graveside service will follow at 3:00pm, at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorial service Monday, May 19th, 4:00pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 8997 South Broadway, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.
