Betty J. VonAchen, 97, Homemaker, passed away on November 4, 2018. Born on October 27, 1921 in Hazelton, Kansas to Louis and Fay (Hutchison) Vannaman. Survived by her son, Larry (Deborah) VonAchen of Valley Center; daughter, Linda Shook of Rose Hill; sister, Louise Stanley of Wichita; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 8; service: 1 p.m. Friday, November 9, both at Hillside Funeral Home West. Burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita 67202.
