I am so sorry to hear about Walter.  I wish I had known in time for the funeral.  One of my dog park friends just called me.  We will miss seeing Walt at the dog park and I will miss our conservative talks where we would scare off all the liberals at the table.  He loved doing that just to be ornery.  His dog park buddies would love helping you with Rosie and picking her up when we go to the park so she can still see her friends.  If you can respond to this, then I will try send you my cell number.   I'm sure Walt is up to all his ornery pranks in heaven.

Wally and I were friends since we were teens. Although we haven't seen each other in many years that friendship has always remained.  Although I grieve about his passing, I rejoice in his homegoing. I know where he is, who he is with, what we is experiencing and how he is doing now. Well done Wally. Looking forward to a reunion in heaven.

There are multiple memories of Wally that I hold dear. Most of them include my late husband., Mike.
Wally and Mike liked to aggravate one another, play jokes, and frequently chased each other like brothers would.  Wally was dear to our entire family.
He set an example of faithfulness, faithfulness to God, to family, to friends, to the lost. 
His was a life of love-filled commitment. His sense of humor often led the way in relationships, My family and I were doubly blessed by knowing both Wally's and Sheree' s immediate families. The love of Jesus was never missing in an encounter. 
There is no doubt that many shared memories will be filled with laughter. The loss of this wonderful generator of joy and laughter is profound. May those memories and his legacy bring comfort in the days ahead.

Wally and his family have impacted my life in ways that will only be totally seen in heaven. His parents were one of the families that would pick me up as a child, and take me to church. When Wally was able to drive he and his sister Gladys would pick me up. One funny memory is I would get out of the car on the passenger side wait for him to go but he would wave me to go in front of the car. As I would start to go we would start to drive. I would stop. Then I would go to cross the street behind the car. He would put it in reverse and start to move the car again. I would go to the front of the car. He would put it in drive and go forward again. He would be laughing his head off. He would do it over and over again. Each and every time he would drop me off!!!! He for sure had a wonderful sense of humor!!!! I truly love his family for stepping up to show this girl who didn’t have a godly family, how to life for Christ and how to have fun doing it. Thank you for the bottom of my heart. All of my children and grandchildren attend church to this day. Thank you. See you soon!! Say hello to Jesus for me!!
