When special people come into your life, accept you for who you are, love you unconditionally, stays strong even in the midst of struggles of their own, has the biggest heart of any one person could ever have you realize how can you be so lucky for them to be in your life. My heart will never be the same without you, the tears haven't stopped for the loss of your life however, all of us that knew you and absolutely blessed for you will forever be touched by your presence! Words can't express the gratitude, relationship and bond we will always have over the past 30+ yrs you were and always will be a part of my life! Heaven has gained a special Angel which now will be forever surrounding us with his strength! Miss and always LOVE YOU!!

I know we have not talked for many years, but you were always in my heart with special memories....and you will continue have a special part of my heart and soul.  God has taken away all the pain you have suffered these past years and there is a special place in Heaven for you....every time I will hear Van Morrison sing "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You"  I will think of you and Jamestown Beach....I will always love you.

May the Yacobi family find comfort in fond memories of Tim. He loved his family unconditionally. He loved his children and grandchildren. In sickness or health his presence was made to special family events or celebrations with laughter and a smile on his face. Tim maintained a positive attitude and fought hard during his illness. May the Yacobi  family and friends keep these memories in your heart and know Tim is now at peace.

I worked with Tim in o58 Inspection and always thought he was a great guy. Will miss him greatly and never forget his smile. God bless you buddy.

Tim and I talked on the phone regulary.We always talked about high school and Notre Dame football. I would visit him at NIUwhen he attended there.We had some crazy time be fore he moved to VA.I will miss his phone calls .lm glad his pain is now gone my rest in peace,

I went to grade school and high school with Tim and then lost touch.  Just four or five years ago I ended up in Williamsburg for a conference.  I attended St. Bede Church and posted it on FaceBook.  Tim responded that it was his church!  We kept up on FaceBook over the past few years.  He enduring cheerfulness despite whatever he was experiencing is probably one of the most amazing examples of Christian life I have seen.  Tim chose "joy" over "despair and fear" so consistently.   He encouraged me greatly.  Now that his earthly pain and trials are over, I know he is watching over us, cheering on his beloved Fighting Irish and Detroit Lions.   Sending prayers and wishes for sweet memories to his children and grandchildren and extended family.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Xavier Francis Yacobi, Jr and Anne Petty Yacobi, and his brother, Mike. 

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Yacobi Dickerson (Brian); son, James Timothy Yacobi, Jr. (Lindsey); grandsons, Charles Johnson, Blake Johnson, James Yacobi, and Will Dickerson.  He is also survived by his sisters, Laura Yacobi Struyf and Tina Yacobi Motola; sister-in law, Patricia; brothers, Frank, John, Tony and Rob Yacobi; and numerous dearly loved nieces and nephews.
