John H. Farrer September 25, 1955 – January 21, 2019

John has embarked on his journey to the great beyond to join his mother Elsie and father Henry. His great sense of humour and storytelling will be fondly remembered by his sisters Linda (late Manuel), Pat and Helen (Skip); nephew Manny and nieces Bella (Randy) and Minda; great nieces Mckenna and Mila and his good buddy Denny. John loved rock and roll music, classic cars and watching old sitcoms on TV. His feline friends Baby and Prince were the light of his life and he enjoyed sharing stories of their antics with all. John always saw life from the positive side. He has left us now for his last great ride in the sky, with music blaring and tires squealing. In memory of John, donations to the Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

John I remember when you taught me how to drive . First car was a LTD car. Can't believe I drove that big car. Then i got into my first accident with it , you by my side . you tried to help me not to hit the car. i missed the first car and hit the second car. Then I took the CAA drivers course. Dad was mad when I told him I hit a car. Thanks for your patience . Will miss you. Love Pat

John I will always miss the things we used to talk about on the phone growing up and now.
For the old movies and t.v. shows you watched.
You always talked about Baby and Prince (your cats)
You always said to say hi to the girls and my buddy (Nate) and give them a hug and kiss for me.
You were always laughing and smiling .

from your big sister Linda

Music was a big part of your life and lots of my good times with you are tied to great songs of the 60's and 70's. I remember driving with you and hearing Pink Floyd's - Money and also hearing The Doors - Light My Fire on our way to summer holidays at the lake. Hearing these songs today still takes me back to those times and brings a smile to my face. The same goes every time I see a '69 Chevelle or '68 Malibu. Such great cars and your pride and joy. It was fun touring around with you. Mostly though I will remember how family was so important to you, especially in your golden years. You were a thread that wove through our lives and made us one. Thanks for all the great memories John. I will treasure them forever. Fly By Night Away From Here, Lucky Man. Love, your sis Helen

We looked forward to having telephone calls from John. He always brought us up to date on family and other happenings. It was great to be in touch with John since we live so far away. When we did visit Windsor John would bring a welcome. Not all family have kept in touch. We will miss your connection with us. RIP.
