We had the pleasure of knowing Gus during the five years we lived across the road from him on Malta. Many fun times were spent in his or Jim’s garage. Gus was always there to lend a hand when needed. His crazy antics, his joy for life, we will never forget him.

Not sure where to start; Gus was a fixture on our street. Gus was one of the first people my family met when we moved here in 1995. Gus was the go to guy for me and Tracey when we needed help or some guidance on fixing things around our house. He was instrumental in building our addition (House) which will be cherished forever! Gus you will be missed dearly... we will try to help others like you helped us, especially your family. The kids have some pretty great memories that they will keep with them forever! We remember the time, shortly after we moved in when you asked us if we have ever seen fire trucks.... sure enough there were fire trucks on the street that very same night!
You probably didn't see yourself as a teacher but you were, you taught us so many things that we would have never done before from fixing bikes to fixing furnaces to building additions and remodelling basements! I remember when I was out of town and Tracey and the kids were home, our furnace motor caught on fire, sure enough you came over to help and just happened to have a spare one in your garage!! This same situation played out so many times throughout the past 23 years that we would be unable to share them all. We miss you and will miss you forever, Love Dan, Tracey, Katie and Jessica.
P.S. Your giggle and your shoulders, the way they danced when you laughed will always be with us... :)
