I can’t believe it’s been 4 years my friend. I now have 2 cats, to go with the 2 dogs. This latest one is a Ragcoon. Took her 2 weeks to realize Sasha has CH. Now she totes on Sash like a big sister. Your name came up for me on FB, just this morning. It makes me happy that you are a common link still connecting people in this great void called social media. I hope you and all the cats you care for, are up there watching the antics down here, enjoying sammiches. 💜💜💜

Please accept my most sincere condolences.  I am so sorry for not writing earlier.  Although I knew that Philip was ill, I had not heard the very sad news until now.  I know how loved he was by all the family, and how grateful you were for the time that you were able to spend with him towards the end.

Once upon a time, I met a very funny and kind person on Facebook. He made me laugh when I truly needed it, and taught me how to handle negative people without being hateful.

Your voice was one of the first I found on this wild frontier, and thereafter, one I sought out.

I will always remember you. Almost a decade ago, when I was just getting into Facebook groups, you always welcomed me and supported me in my youthful drama. You made me laugh and taught me about the realities of life, made me smarter and stronger. And I loved watching you roast trolls. You will be greatly missed 

Philip was a kind man with a quirky sense of humor and a love of cats that rivals mine. I am so glad we got the opportunity to interact as we did over the years in the same groups. Philip was my friend for the past 7-8 years.  He was always an intellectual powerhouse with an amazing sense of humor and an incredibly witty demeanor.  He has touched so many lives just by being in them.  He will always be loved and missed.  Rest easy my friend.

I never had the honour of meeting Philip face to face. In fact, I am not sure I ever even saw a picture of him. Philip was ”just” a name and words on my computer screen. But that doesn't even come close to expressing how his words impacted me in the time I knew him. I can not count the times I read his words and laughed out loud at his brilliant biting humour. His wit and wordsmanship are something I aspire to. His kindness and sometimes his irreverence in the face of hardship inspired me. 

My world is diminished because he is no longer a part of it. 

Philip, thank you for accepting my friend request. It had been my absolute honour and pleasure to share even this small part of the world with you. I hope you knew how many of us cared.

Philip was a great man with an awesome sense of humor. He will be missed. 

Philip befriended me many years on the internet and we found out we had much in common,  including an irreverent sense of humor.  He was always just a text message away with a witty remark or a comforting virtual hug in good times and bad.  I appreciated his friendship greatly and will miss him dearly.  

My condolences at your loss of Phillip.  Many memories of shopping trips to Borders Books in Detroit.  He always remembered the visit of Sir Parker LaRoux from South Africa.
