Judith is my oldest and best friend. My memories of the old days in the Dean house were warm and lovely. Gordon gave the (somewhat teary) toast to the bride at our wedding in 1971. Oddly, the two things I remember most about Eva are about food. She loved soft poached eggs mushed up on toast and then there was the gong: first call, second call and then third call when everyone who wanted to eat was expected to be at the table. I loved that. 
My heart goes out to my dear friend. Rest in peace, Eva.
