Germaine (Legal) Rivard

On Friday July 12, 2019, Germaine passed away peacefully, with family at her side.

She leaves to mourn, her children, Fran (Gilles) Ross, Della (Gilbert) Chaput, Jim (Wilma), LeahAnne (Gary) Moore, Robert (Claire), Vicki (Joe) Pettifer, Nora (Doug) Biggar, Faye (Dale) Williamson, Phillip (Sharon), and daughter-in-law Selina (Henry d.), and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her brothers and sisters, Yvonne, Louis (Aline), Claire (Aurele), Michel (Angele), Marie-Rose, Lucienne (Frank), Claude (Irma), Jean, Paul (Marie-Louise), Gerard, and Gilberte (Lee).

Germaine was pre-deceased by her parents Henri and Marie Anne Legal, her husband of 53 years, Sam (Albert), her son Henry, grandchildren Kim Rivard and Edward Sweet, and sister Celine Ross.

The family extends sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the staff at Villa Youville for their incredible kindness to Mom and our family.

In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, a donation may be made to your charity of choice. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church; 162 Central Ave, Ste. Anne.
