She was my learn to run instructor some 9 years ago. She epitomized kindness and patience. Lisa was encouraging, empathetic and had a good sense of humour. I admired those strengths.

Dear Uncle Albert, Aunty Della, Glenn & Suzanne....
Words can not express how deeply saddened we feel over the loss of your dear Lisa, her smile could light up any room, we remember it vividly. She has reminded us that life is precious and a gift, we feel so blessed to have known her. She had many passions and we spoke about them at length from everything to cake decorating, recipes, her love of animals and theater. But most of all we shared her love of family as we exchanged silly pictures that made us laugh. In her last correspondence she said that she was inspired by me, but when in fact it was her that inspired us. Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love. May you find comfort in your memories of her in the days ahead, our most heartfelt sympathy to you all at this time.

I was a client of Lisa's at the Charleswood EyeCentre for many years and she was the most wonderful person: so kind and caring and friendly. To her family, please know that Lisa made such a positive impact on the people she met and cared for throughout her career. I think of her with the deepest fondness and will never forget her ever-smiling face, and her open and genuine personality.

Albert, Della, and brother Glenn.
We are saddened by the passing of Lisa, she has been our neighbour for a number of years always looking over the fence with a smile on her face and taking the time to chat. She was a wonderful neighbour and we will miss her dearly. As a parent we never want to see a loved one in such pain or anyone for that matter.
We pray you will find comfort knowing that she no longer has any pain. May she rest in peace.

Dear Albert, Della and all the family,
It is with great sadness that we offer our condolences in the loss of your daughter, Lisa.
One can only imagine the loss you are feeling in losing a daughter and of such a young age.
As I read her obituary, I can see that Lisa lived a full and committed life. Imagine all she had seen as she travelled to run those marathons. Bill and Diane were keeping us informed as to Lisa's health after she was diagnosed with cancer. They spoke of the severe pain she was enduring. So as you mourn Lisa, I am certain you will be so thankful that she is at peace and free of pain. A donation will be sent to the humane society in memory of Lisa.
Sincere sympathy and care,
Marlene and John Mutch
