

Ruth Naomi Gregory, 98, of Westminster Towers, Winter Park, Florida passed away on April 17, 2017. She was born on August 8, 1918 in McKees Rocks, PA to the late James Floyd and Nellie Ridgeway. Ruth graduated in 1943 from Sewickley Valley Hospital School of Nursing. She met her late husband Dr. Glenn Lotz while in school. They had a beloved son, the late Gary Lotz. Ruth loved to travel and live in different places. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, The Officer’s Wives Club and many other organizations. She was a member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church. Her faith and love of family were very important to her. After retiring to Winter Park, she continued to entertain friends and conduct Bible studies at her home. She loved to work in her yard and had beautiful flowers that she cared for daily. She loved all of God’s creatures; especially dogs, cats and birds. In fact, numerous birds made their home in her yard. She was also the beloved wife of the late Grover K. Gregory and the late Roy Zimmer, Sr. and the late brother, Ralph Ridgeway.
Survivors include her adored grandchildren, Hudson (Brooke) Lotz of Hawaii and Cammy Lotz of Illinois; two great grandchildren, Ryder and Ferrah Lotz and stepson, Roy (Cindy) Zimmer, Jr. and their son, Trent Zimmer and longtime friends, John and Fran Hammerli. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
