Louis Caron

Louis Alphonse Caron, born January 2, 1937 in Montmartre passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 in Regina at the age of 79 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jacques-Arthur and Evelina (Perras) Caron, step mother Denise (Gentes) Caron, sister Annette, infant sisters Agnes and Laurette, brothers, Francois, Lucien, Herve and Jean, father in-law and mother in-law Michael and Mary Szydloski, brothers-in-law, James Schnell, Peter Lunness, Mike Kisil, and Steve Petrychyn sister-in-law, Noella Caron and nephew, Jean Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years Stella, sons Raymond and Patrick, daughters, Carol and Paula (Dave Brett) and granddaughter Sara, brother George (Ernesta) Caron, sisters, Sr. Marguerite Caron, Madeleine (Isadore) Haubrich; Therese Danbrook, Claire (Daniel) Delorme, Cecile Schnell, Helen (Barry) Lyons; sisters-in-law, Gilberte Caron, Mary Caron, Marie-Claire Caron, Betty Petrychyn and Pauline Kisil as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Louis was very active in community. Some of the committees and boards he was involved in were the Knights of Columbus, various Sacred Heart Parish committees and the Montmartre Housing Board.

The funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Montmartre, SK., on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Dennis Remot.

Interment of cremated remains in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Indian Head Union Hospital and MICU of the Regina General Hospital.
