On Wednesday, June 9, 2021, Tranquilino Rivas Linares, loving husband, father of seven, and grandfather of eighteen went home to be with our Heavenly Father at the age of 76. Tranquilino was born on August 1, 1944 in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico to Jesus Linares and Anistasio Rivas.
On January 28, 1968, he married his beautiful wife, Maria de Jesus Uribe. They raised five sons, Ramon, Juan, Lupe, Luis and Gabriel and two daughters, Maribel and Diana.
Tranquilino was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Gabina Salazar.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria, brother Anastasio Rivas, seven children, and eighteen grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 134 Cypress Street in Woodlake, California on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 3 - 5:30 p.m. Rosary will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 6 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 198 North Pepper Street in Woodlake, California. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 9 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 198 North Pepper Street in Woodlake. Interment will follow immediately follow at Woodlake Public Cemetery, 165 North Cypress Street in Woodlake, California.
